"We are looking forward to welcoming you at our lodge, and will do whatever we can to make your stay an unforgettable one"

My name is Marianne Andersen

I am the proud owner of Williston Lake Outfitters in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.

I was born and raised in a family with strong tradition for the love of nature and all kind of wildlife and hunting, the foundation stone for my Canadian dream was laid many years ago.

I spend every season in Canada, and I enjoy being a part of the every day work and life in camp. Throughout the winter, I live in Denmark in a cabin in the forest, the closest you can get to wilderness in a small country like Denmark. Being able to enjoy the silence and beauty of nature is a gift that I appreciate every day.

Throughout the years I have spent many months hunting and hiking in great places around the world. I have been given unforgettable adventure and met some very great people…  lifelong friendships have developed.

I am very proud to be working with my high skilled team of guides and wranglers at Williston Lake Outfitters, and we are sure to bring all our experience as a benefit for our guests, no matter if you come for hunting, fishing or any other kind of wilderness adventure.

"We will make sure that your safe when you visit us in the camp and in the wilderness"

My name is Travis Mayer

Hunting and spending time in the wild has always been a huge and very important part of my life. My father was a passionate hunter, and worked as a big game guide. From I was only a little boy he tought me the love for nature, hunting and fishing. The seed for my life long passion for the wild has been sowed!

I went to my first hunting camp at age 13.I worked as a wrangler in that camp for most of my teenage years, cooking, helping and in charge of horses; filling up my back pack with adventure and experience.

The summer I turned 19 my boss called me to his office: “TRAVIS !!” he said, “Time to take the bull by the horns!!!! You have a sheep hunter in a week. He has a bad knee, and you only have 9 days to get a ram!”

We harvested the second largest ram that year, and on the first day of our hunt!

Those years in the wild were amazing; hunting Stone Sheep, Goats and Moose with clients from around the world. I rode horses through high mountain passes, chased horses, fished in places maybe nobody had ever been before! ... The dreams of adventure really started to grow and during those years working with great people in the wild, I grew into the person I am today.

Now many years later, I am proud father of four great young people and a grand dad of 3 beautiful girls - and still a passionate hunter.

I am the outfitter at Williston Lake Outfitters, and use my experience both to give all our guests the best possible adventure as well as to give all the young people working for us something they can carry with them for the rest of their lives, and maybe even help them find their path. Both give me a great pleasure every single day.
